Meta
In 2026 I worked within AI at Meta to represent their product landscape across the ai.meta.com platform.
I was the Brand Designer on a three person creative crew, along with an Art Director and UX Designer. We handled the day to day updates, along with product launches and the research going-ons.
Launching Muse
HERO IMAGE
When Meta launched Muse, their agentic AI assistant, I created these static banner concepts for their dedicated product page.
WORLD BUILDING
Since it was a new product, we wanted to show at-a-glance some of what it may accomplish for the user.
RESULTS
Muse launched on September 8, 2026 and held the Number 1 spot for 10 days on the App Store.
It then spent several consecutive weeks holding the top spot on the free iPhone chart.
Milestone: Muse surpassed 5 million downloads in under three weeks, outpacing past records set by ChatGPT and Claude.
What launched
We eventually pivoted towards an animated solution, to elevate the over-all impact and feeling of excitement around the launch. This was developed in-house and animated via code. My role was visual design.
Watch it in full screen to see the subtle animation effects.
As AI at Meta grew so did the use cases and ideally the customer base. As they began to expand into B2B, we created landing pages to run ads against and including SEO targeting.
AI for Business
Using AI generation tools
Where I may have searched for a stock image to tell the user story in the past, now I consider reaching for an AI generation tool. It is a process, and not a quick one necessarily to actually create a strong image.
I’m interested in tools such as Figma Weave when I think about creating systems. There is a lot to explore, for the right project and for the right reasons.
This particular image was generated using Meta’s own internal Muse app.
